Stephen Jordon’s book is a concise and applicable tool for learning about ministry. He shares what works and doesn’t work through his experiences with a touch of gentleness. It’s an easy read with wisdom sprinkled throughout. Humor is included which reminds us that God wants us to enjoy life. For those who are starting out in ministry or need to be inspired this book is well worth your time.

I enjoyed reading this book. The lessons to be successful in ministry is explained in a way that is easy to understand and most of them are based on the author’s experience. I really recommend this book.

My name is Larry Gene Condon, I have been a Senior Pastor for more than 30+ years, I am a Vietnam Veteran, Father of three wonderful girls and a Grandpa to 5 amazing grandkids plus one from my second marriage. I am also a Certified Life Coach, Solution Focused Coach and Transformational Coach through Universal Coach Institute. Stephen Jordan was my Pastor and Teacher for many years in a little town called Orchards, Washington. While my wife and I plus my 3 little girls at the time, while we were with Pastors Steve and Patti Jordan, we helped clean up around the church, taught Sunday School classes, from small youth to older adult classes. I drove the Church Bus, played Bass guitar and sang on the worship team, and eventually , I was appointed Youth Pastor for a few years there as well. I feel Pastor Steve and his lovely wife Patricia trained us up well in preparation to become a Minister of God and Pastor of a Church.

I have read Pastor Steve’s book, “What’s Stopping You?” – A journal of Seven Steps to Succeeding in Ministry. I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking of working in the Ministry of God or anyone already working in the ministry of God as this book is a real true Road Map to Success in Ministry. I love the way Pastor Steve uses Biblical Scriptures and Examples, as well as his own personal experiences and examples showing us the Seven Steps to Succeeding in Ministry. If you read this book, write notes and implement his knowledge and examples in your life and ministry, you will be successful in the Ministry of God. The book is a great read, it captivates your attention and keeps you wanting to read more and learn more! Well done Pastor Steve, you have once again knocked it out of the ballpark, so to speak. I Love this book, you won’t want to miss owning and reading this Book to get real life experiences and examples to keep you on track towards being successful in your Ministry for God.
